==The Saga==
===Readyreat 28, CY 591===

Sven learns that his friend [[Hogarth]] has gone missing with other [[Blackrazors]] inside [[Maure Castle]] and that the [[redshirts]] stationed there were slaughtered. He gets an illustration of old camp, and teleports in, finding the area abandoned, and the ground badly clawed. Heads to the passage way leading to the unopenable doors, and is ambushed by ghouls, which leap out of the passage way, but can’t defeat his damage reduction.

He wipes them out with an acid bolt. Another half dozen, led by a ghast, leap from the trench, but before they can land a blow are cut down by an acidified fireball.

Dimension doors his way past the unopenable doors, and after some searching, comes across Alister scribbling madly in a back room. He takes them to the Blackrazor base camp, where he meets up with the rest of the party.

The Blackrazors return to the Hand room, and while exploring, finds a [[the Seekers|Seeker]] barracks, but choose not to attack. Instead explore to the east, and find a room with a door caked over with frost and mud. Opening the door reveals the room itself is similarly caked; Sven casts protection from elements, enters the room and is staggered by intense cold that actually overwhelms his magical defenses. Alister defeats the mold by casting cone of cold, which kills it, but nothing is found in the room.

The party continues to explore, and the voice says that Ian should see out the true room. When he says that the voice lies, it says that it was merely testing. While exploring, the voice tries to lead Ian to it. To gain his trust, the voice alerts him to a guard barracks, which he proceeds to attack. He charges in, wounding one, and then his friends come charging up. Alister casts chain lightening, killing one outright, and badly frying the rest. Then Ian great cleaves the rest, killing all of the remaining seekers. They loot 6 +1 bucklers, +1 chain mail, amulet of natural armor +1, and 12 potions of cure moderate wounds.

==Experience==

The party received 1350 xp each for the fight with the Seekers and avoiding the brown mold death trap.

Sven Kildare received 150 xp additional XP for his fight with the ghouls outside the castle.
