The Uruk Hai (or high orcs), are a more civilized and advanced group of orcs.  They are relatively new to the Pomarj and little is known about them.  It is thought that the high orcs are originally from UnderOerth, though none are sure how they have adapted to daylight so quickly.

While more intelligent and cultured than normal orcs, Uruk Hai are no less evil.  They favor bloodsports and public torture/executions for entertainment and generally view all other intelligent life as inferiors.

In combat Uruk Hai are well armed and armored.  They are intelligent warriors, favoring curved blades that deliver precise, powerful blows (such as falchions, scimitars and kukri).

Overview
