What Has Come Before

The Soul Stones Saga begins as an eclectic band of adventurers finds themselves drawn to one another on the streets of Greyhawk.

The Saga

Harvester 15, 591

The Crypts

On the morning of Harvester 15, 591, while Godfrey rested up in the Green Dragon in, the party learned that there were two soul stones in Greyhawk. They found out about one them after a wizard in the guild activated his stone, and activated Soloth’s soul stone.

They headed over to the guild where they found an enchanter, Manansi Malabre who had previously found by Angrin. They characters then figured out they could activate their stones and see if they were keyed to anyone else.

Hanros’s stone turned out to be one that was so keyed, and led to an area in a sub-level of the Common Crypts. That night, the party went there, fighting their way past a priest of Incabulous and his zombie mininons. Finally arrived at the appropriate crypt chamber, where they encountered wights and ghouls haunting the room, which turned out to be magically darkened.

Survived by failing back and luring the monsters into a nearby chamber.

Then recovered the stone from the corpse of a thief at the bottom of a huge pit in the center of the room. The stone was a lesser emerald. Has half of a mask on it (like Oldimarda) which is partially obscured by mist or wind.
