What Has Come Before

The crew made it to Burle keep, and picked up some information on who they seek, and a few bounties. They run into the Flail Snail and defeat it before resting for the night.

The Saga

The crew takes the remains of the Flail Snail back to the caravan. Caravan is waiting for parts to fix themselves. After a short rest, they are awakened by an Ettin seeking to make the shell a helmet. Party tries to negotiate for a bit, but the mad Telek attacks trying to protect the shell. Thorfin, being no friend of giants, quickly joins in. The rest of the crew jumps in to help.

Mather uses the chaos to try to save the shell. Telek faces down the giant, but he's no match for the beast and is dropped before getting put into his bag for later. Eventually the rest of the crew fells the giant. While Telek is unconscious, Mather takes the mysterious necklace. He gives it to Thorfin for safe keeping.

The next day the spare parts show up. Telek awakes with only vague memories of the past few weeks. Seems to be more himself, and definitely wants a new set of clothing.

Party waits a day for the carts to be fixed. The caravan agrees to cart the shell back to Burle. Party collects a reward for he snail, and the Ettin. Also asks Kiera to contact Saltmarsh for a shell buyer. Decide to head back out to look for the Ettin's home. On the way they run into a bunch of spiders, and the Fellmoon Ettercap. Though Mather is knocked unconscious, they are able to fell the beasts. They find a bunch of treasure in the nearby lair of the Ettercap.
