"Zap" is a former librarian with stewardship of an arcane nobleman's collection. Stumbled across a profane tome of mixed race, multi partner 'genealogy' with his name as the latest entry. Obsessed with pursuing the possibility that he's the Gnomish Kwisatz Haderach or Antichrist. After confronting his benefactor, was outcast and "coincidentally" set upon by marauders. Discovered his wild magic during the attack after sneezing and turning all the attackers into chess pieces, but one.
