Overview

History

An old and powerful orcish artifact made from the eye of a long dead elven warrior Aerasowyn. Eventually it found a new home with the orc tribe known as the Bleeding Eye Clan.

Sir Wardare

In Early Cy 592 Sir Erogin Wardare lead his men at arms in a strike against the Bleeding Eye Clan. During the attack, Sir Wardare claimed the Bleeding Eye, and was compelled to replace his own eye with the artifact. Aerasowyn's spirit was then able to fight Sir Wardare's spirit, hoping to gain control of his body to gain revenge over the orcs. Sir Wardare was able to fend off the spirit, but was greatly weakened. He ordered the retreat to his feudal home of Wardare Tower, where the artifact began to drive him mad.

Destruction

In Patchwall CY 592 a group of heroes from Obsidian Bay set out to stop attacks by the Bleeding Eye Clan. Though initially unaware, the heroes end up discovering the clan is attempting to recover their artifact from Sir Wardare. This leads to a confrontation between the heroes and the now mad Sir Wardare. Fortunately the heroes recognize that it is the artifact driving him mad, and they are able remove the eye. In a final confrontation with Aerasowyn's spirit, the heroes are able to destroy the artifact once and for all. [1]
