What Has Come Before
The Saga
Wealsun 2, CY 566
The heroes enter the goblin lair and begin exploring. Aust stumbles across a guard room filled with goblins. Most of the goblins attack, while two run off to get help. Two others open a secret door, throw in a sack of silver, and recruit the ogre in the cave next door to help out.
The ogre stepped up and knocked out Aust with one blow. Callie and Emmeral stepped up to fight the brute, but suffered similar fates. Fortunately the cleric Carmo was able to step and and use his healing magic to restore each of them to full life in turn.
The fight continued with Ingellred stepping into the gap and pummelling the ogre. In a side cooridor two more goblins emerged from the shadows to ambush Link. Once the ogre was finally defeated by Ingellred by a critical pike blow, the heroes were able to make short work of the remaining goblins.
Their troubles were not over though, as more goblins could be heard rallying the troops for a counter attack.
The Counter Attack
Rather than fleeing, the heroes decided to hunker down. They throw up two tables, and barracade themselves in the goblin guard room.
Then the attack came from both directions, with the western goblins lead by the chief.
in the brutal fight to follow, Carmo falls. The halfling jumps on a barrel to fight them.
Ingellred throws a flash of oil to distract the western approaching goblins. Meanwhile eastern goblins smash their table barricade.
