The Great Southern Plain is the common name for the vast and wild grasslands that fill the southeastern corner of the Pomarj peninsula. It is claimed by the Domain of Obsidian Bay, and is dotted with a number of small towns and villages as well as a few hardy farms and ranches. Large stretches of it remain unsettled however, and more than a few humanoid tribes still roam the territory.
