Galnuthrundak was an young Red Dragon who, along with his half-dragon attendants, who traveled into the caverns below Khelez-Mar. There they were suck and unable to leave for some years before the dragon grew too large to leave the same way. Taking advantage of the dwarves defeat by a greedy necromancer and his humanoid army, Galnuthrundak looted many of the resources they left behind.

After several decades as undisputed ruler of the lower levels, someone started 'encouraging' monsters from the Underdark up into the Dragon's caverns, initiating a long running war. In fact, the dragon's presence actually helped to form a buffer between the new generation of Dwarven inhabitants of Khelez-Mar and the dangers from the Underdark.

When the Blackrazor Guild encountered the dragon, they were convinced to deal with the threat from the Underdark, which where being instigated by an Illithid and his pet drow Monk. The sheer chaos + fire adventuring style of the Blackrazors was sufficient to overcome the Threat from Below.

After dealing with the Illithid, the Blackrazors retreated, rested and prepared for battle with the Dragon. What followed was, in some opinions, one of the greatest battles of the Blackrazor Guild history. The guild members involved really pulled out all the stops to defeated the Dragon.
