The Tyrant-Slayers Guild was formed by a band of adventurers who follow the Trithereonite Corin. Like their spiritual leader, the guild opposes any who would impose tyranny on the masses. Unlike other guilds in the city though, they do not just oppose the Pomarj's humanoid oppressers.
While they are enthusastic slayers of orcs, and spend much of their time on the frontier, they have been increasingly turning their attention to tyranny within Obsidian Bay ... specifically rules and regulations imposed by the "Lord Mayor".
They have been known to protest laws they view as unjust, coming to blows with anyone who dares endorse such oppressive policies.
The guild is not formally recognized by the city -- the Tyrant-Killers refuse to grant the city government even that recognition.
They are led by Taldrai Kingbane, a former citizen of Keoland who fled his country after nearly being arrested for sediatious talk (he had advocated abolishing the king's office and replacing it with an elected board of freemen).
The guild owns a small house in the Strange Quarter, two blocks down from Corin's Temple of Vengeance.
