What Has Come Before
The Blackrazors have traveled into the sewers of Obsidian Bay searching for the Bloodsworn, a group of demon-worshiping cultists who serve the vile demon known as the Blood Lord. The group had been responsible for the summoning of the shadow demon Argolith, who had then taken possession of the Blackrazor (and former Blood Lord prisoner) Gaiseric and used him to kill several prominent leaders in Obsidian Bay.
They found a nest of Bloodsworn in a lair at the very limits of the Obsidian Bay sewers. After exterminating the cultists they found in this "Den of Bile" the Blackrazors learned of a second, larger hideout of the demon-worshiping cult -- the "Hive of Pain". This complex was apparently located less than a mile from the Horns of Medusa, an tunnel they'd missed on their earlier, fevered trek to attack the archmage Kala in his lair within the horns. With a map to the complex in hand, the Blackrazors set out.

The Hive of Pain
On 23 Flocktime, the Blackrazors continued their trek through the UnderOerth. They traveled for a full day before resting in a cavern with a fresh-water pool. During the night, they were attacked by frog-like demons apparently summoned by the cultists. They slew the creatures and returned to sleep.
On 24 Flocktime, the Blackrazors finally arrived at the Hive of Pain. After preparing themselves physically and magical, they charged in. They found a sprawling main chamber with a crude inverted pentagram carved into the floor – a quick revealed congealed blood filled its grooves. Chained to the wall were three orange-furred, ape-like demons. As the Blackrazors watched, cultists pulled the pins holding the chains in check, and unleashing the creatures they'd held. Six corridors branched off from the main room; three of these were sealed by stonewalls pierced by heavy wooden doors.
The demons were joined in the fight by several cultists wearing platemail armor, One Blackrazor was badly staggered when a full-grown mage burst from his chest, causing excruciating pain as blood and skin tore with the mage's passage. Soon after, numerous other demons appeared, pressing their attack at the urging of yet another mage, this one a mad-looking individual wearing abyssal black robes.
The Blackrazors made quick work of the cultists, easily cutting down their mage leaders, and slicing through the grunts like a dagger through a cyst. But as they were driving back the demons, a shadow suddenly leapt from the ceiling and into Ragnar's chest. The Blackrazors watched in horror as the barbarian struggled to fend off what could only be the shadow demon Argolith. He failed, and the adventurers suddenly found one of their most powerful allies turned against them. Fortunately, this time they were prepared for the confrontation -- Kalib cast a dismissal spell, sending the demon screaming back to the Abyss and freeing Ragnar from its momentary control.
After slaying the last of the demons the Blackrazors looted the "Hive of Pain", finding numerous tomes dedicated to extraplaner research and tracking the cult's growth. The leader of the cult was identified as a blood mage named Dransheck the Lancer, while the demonologist (and owner of the extraplaner tomes) was named Jrax.
After destroying every trace of demonic taint they could find, the Blackrazors returned to Obsidian Bay, arriving back in the city on 26 Flocktime.
