A fisherman all his life, Guilard eventually worked his way up to captain of his own little vessel, the Leaky Leaper. On Patchwall 25, CY 591 his ship was attacked by a monstrous lobster. Fortunately, his crew was able to fight it off without any deaths, in the process severing one of the claws. He later sold this claw to Corash.
