Overview

The Madbrand Guild is comprised of humans who were taken as slaves by Pomarjian orcs, but later threw off their chains (both of slavery and civilization).

Taken during the Greyhawk Wars and held until the mid-580s, the Madbrand Guild's founding members escaped in CY 587.

They murdered their orcish captures in a show of barbaric strength the unsuspecting humanoids never thought they'd see from a bunch of captured farmers.

They lived in the wilds for years before venturing back to civilization in CY 590, or at least, to Blue.

Once in the city, they used the treasures seized during their long wanderings to purchase a rundown warehouse in Blue's Buttom Half.

They despise humanods with a passion, and kill them on sight, without a thought for caution, the law, or their own lives.

Over the years, they have attracted many of those who have lost everything and everyone they loved. Those who join go through a barbaric initiation and emerge covered in tattoos.

The Madbrand Guildhall is a filthy mess, filled with the stench of spilled beer and blood. They make the Ralleymen Guild look well behaved, and the Blackrazor Guild hygenic.

They rarely go to Obsidian Bay; the city's far too lawful for them.
