Nuke(m)con is the groups weekend-long game fest. Run on years where a majority of the group is unable to hit the big cons (like Gencon, Origins, etc.)

About

The con started when the lives of the Blackrazors prevented them from going to the larger cons. Originally it was called NukeCon as it happened at NukeHavoc's house. However after a nasty letter from a tiny con somewhere in the Midwest with the same name, the official title was changed to Nuke(m)Con.

Games of all sorts are played at Nuke(m)con: RPGs, boardgames, card games, miniature war-games, and even video games. The group uses these cons as testing grounds for games they'd like to try, or even to kick off whole new RPG campaigns. It's also a tradition to have one big "Megashot" event which ties into the groups long running campaigns.

The Nuke(m)Con's

The Big Event

Starting with Nuke(m)Con 2008 the group started a new tradition: "The Big Event". These events are stories so big they are run over two nights, on two tables, with two GM's planning and running the games. On the second night the two tables come together for the climatic conclusion of the adventure. Usually the adventure background comes from the live campaigns the group is currently running. While some of the friends of the group aren't as invested in the ongoing campaign as the rest of the Blackrazors, the GM's promise a memorable adventure for all who attend!

Other 'Cons

  • Lance Con: normally a one day event focused on boardgames.
  • BBQ Con: a con run by the Blackrazor's Delaware contingent.
