Skel was a white dragon who served the Cloud Giants who ruled over the Grand Duchy of Geoff for some time. It is unknown how he came into their service, but it most likely had to do with living in the same mountain range. The Blackrazor Guild first encountered Skel during the Liberation of Geoff on the "Night of Storms". While the giants assaulted the free city of Hochoch, Skel attacked from the sky. The Blackrazors were at the forefront of the defenses, but were unable to hold off the attack.
A few months later the peoples of Geoff and their allies, including the Blackrazors, were able to turn the tide and gained the upper hand. Towards the end of the war, the Blackrazors ran into Skel once more. The Blackrazor Tamarind took to the skies to face the dragon head on in the clouds., but Skel gained the upper hand and killed him. Blackrazor Greggor lept at the dragon as he closed with the rest of the party, and in one mighty blow from his Vorpal sword felled the dragon.
The Blackrazors, busy winning the war for Geoff, never took the time to track down Skel's lair. Then, years later while on travels across the Barrier Peaks, D'klar Ironforge heard rumors of Skel's lair. He passed this information to the guild, who immediately prepared an expedition. There they killed the last remains of Skel: His twin spawn Icil and Quel, before finally claiming the dragon's hordes for themselves.
Tamarind was finally avenged!
