Nearly 1/3 of the sites that the Sunken Hammer Guild investigates are some sort of lost temple or tomb of an ancient (or not-so-ancient) race.
So it's hardly surprising that Ilsar, a temple raider of the Olidammara sect, would be its lead rogue. Ilsar has a wealth of religious information, which he often uses to puzzle through mystic-inspired traps in the underwater tombs the guild plunders.
He is a good natured individual, and one who's inclined to drink and party heavily when between missions in Obsidian Bay.
