The Moneylenders Guild Hall is a two-story, heavily reinforced, heavily guarded structure that is home to many of Obsidian Bay's biggest financial transactions.
Although the guild is well-respected among the city's upper echelons, it has many enemies among those whose businesses have failed, yet still owed the guild money. It also has extensive gold and silver reserves which are stored on site (though exactly where is not known).
The guild maintains a garrison of a dozen and a half guards at all times outside the guild, and perhaps an equal number inside.
