The hall of the guild charged with keeping Obsidian Bay's streets lit through the long, dark night.

Overview

The Lamplighter's Guildhall is an open, friendly place that constantly has people coming and going.

During the day, work crews leave the hall to fix damaged lamps, fetch new supplies of oil, and to retrieve orders for new fixtures and other supplies from the various craftsmen of Obsidian Bay.

At night, the work changes, as "lamplighters" run in and out of the guild hall with their oilskins to light the lanterns scattered throughout Obsidian Bay. Some of these lamplighters -- particularly those travelling to the rougher parts of town -- travel with an armed escort.

The building itself is home to quarters for many of the guild's members, quarters for the senior officers, and meeting rooms. A large basement, accessible via a ramp to the street, holds the guild's supply of oil, wicks, candles, lanterns and other sources of illumination.
