Sir Fawkes goes to Fire-eaters to catch up with the others. He explains that there was the possibility that psionics were involved.

"We elves have long memories but it is a highly selective one."

Sir Fawkes interviews Gaiseric. "I’ve gone on a number of adventures with the Blackrazors, and I’ve often ended up on the wrong end of ... Life." He asks if Gaiseric knows anyone who knows psionics; Gaiseric says that Gideon is a sorcerer who wields uncommon magic. Says to return the next day.

Fawkes asks about leaders of the guild: Malaclypse, Tanevir the Half-Elf, Kalib Ironfist. Also mentions Sven, across from the guild hall.

They come across a large pile of shreaded meat -- broken bones, dissolved flesh, ruined chainmail, and the shattered remains of a Trithereonite holy symbol favored by the Corinites.
