Melchior Guilfoyle is a member of one of the most recent bands of Blackrazor Redshirts. He and his fellows are currently away from the Domain adventuring, a fact that pleases many, including others in the guild and folks in Blue, especially.

Melchior Guilfoyle is a Half-elf of mixed High Elf and Baklunish parentage. He is the son of an unknown Elven father and a Baklunish mother. His mother is a member of a Kettite trading family that migrates up and down the rivers through the Sheldomar Valley each year. When he was born, his mother's family wouldn't have him, so he was left on the doorstep for an Elven family to raise in Celene.
As they to were loathe to take him in, they only raised him until his teen years, turning him out when they were sure he could fend for himself. He then lived by his skills and his wits while he made his way throughout the Uleks. He often traveled under the auspices of this minstrel or that juggler, this skald or that gleeman, and so he eventually took up the bardic lifestyle for himself. His Elven upbringing (such as it was) and his "outsider" feelings made this an easy task for him, and as such he wandered into the Domain of Obsidian Bay as a bard on some skill but no real reputation.
Once in the city, he joined up with the Blackrazor Guild on a whim, and has since garnered a reputation as one of their rather notorious Redshirts, which should help draw folks to his performances. This band of Redshirts is fought Evil the hard way, assaulting the newly risen Temple of Elemental Evil near Verbobonc and Rastor, and ultimately saved the world from the awakening of an ancient and terrible god who must not be named.
