A statue to the hero-god Krovis, in honor of the assistance he gave in driving back the orcish hordes that had surrounded Obsidian Bay during the War of Exile.

Site Overview

This statue is dedicated to Krovis, a hero-god woken from his age-old slumber by the Blackrazors to aid in the libertation of Obsidian Bay from the foul forces of the Orcish Empire.

The hero-god united the scattered forces of Obsidian Bay after it had been overthrown by the evil alliance of the Scarlet Brotherhood and the shadowy Dark Circle. Krovis led the army into several decisive battles against the orcish minions on the Great Southern Plain, though he was surprised as any (including the Brotherhood) when a door in the Blackrazor Basement opened onto the Abyss, allowing a demonic horde to enter the city and overwhelm its more mundane invaders.

The hero god played a crucial role in devising the plan that sent several Obsidian Bay adventuring guilds to the Abyss to destroy the portal as well as in crafting the magical scrolls that allowed them to do so.

The statue, standing 20 feet tall, carved from granite, stands near the entrance to the High Quarter and Wharf Districts, along the road that Krovis followed when he and the rest of the Army of Liberation entered Obsidian Bay.
