The Temple of Pursuit in Obsidian Bay was funded and built by Kalib Ironfist, the most powerful priest of Trithereon on the Pomarj, and is administered by his second in command, Ellington. The Temple teaches local residents self-defense techniques and serves as a counterpoint to the lawful tendencies of the Cuthbertians in the city.

Overview

The Temple of Pursuit is the largest temple of Trithereon in Obsidian Bay. Built in the shape of Trithereon's holy symbol, the Rune of Pursuit, the temple sits off of a main street in the Wharf District, near the border to the Strange Quarter.

The Temple serves several roles in the Wharf District. There are several competent swordsmen and adventurers of all types who gladly teach what they know to others. The Temple also serves as a hospital and always has several competent clerics available to assist with healing. One of the more specialized roles the Temple fills however is that of investigator and advocate.

Many of the people of Obsidian Bay ask the Temple to investigate wrongdoings in the City. This ranges from disappearances, murders, thefts and even exonerating people who were wrongfully imprisoned by the City Watch.
