Bass Longfield is second-in-command of the Farmers Guild, and owns several hundred acres two day's ride out of the city, on the eastern edge of the Great Southern Plain.
He was the master of the Farmers Guild for 20 years before retiring from the primary leadership position. He's still greatly respected within the guild, and usually advocates a cool, reasoned response in conflicts with the Matterhorn Guild's ranchers.
