Overview

A huge brute of a man, Garth is representative of the membership of the Ralleyman Guild, which he has ruled as Guildmaster for a decade.

Though none-too-smart, Garth has been a shrewd leader of his guild and has an uncanny ability to detect when a would-be client is trying to dupe him.

For the most part, Garth and his followers have never been too concerned with where their money has come from, as long as the gold was true and the mission didn't actively undermine Obsidian Bay.

Although Garth has proven to have an uncanny ability to detect lies, he (and his other Ralleymen) have a great weakness; his anger.

Those who've attempted to trick the guild into some course of action through wit and guile have failed where someone else -- who merely insulted Garth's honor or strength -- succeeded.

Inevitably Garth will unravel such traps in time, but it usually takes him a few days for his temper to die down ... and for him to realize he'd been duped.

Naturally, this inspires a wholy new bout of anger and those who'd persue such tactics should remember the fate of the Lord Holder Ultic Mord, who's manor house was reduced to rubble by a betrayed Garth.

Organizations

  • Ralleymen Guild: The members of the Ralleymen Guild aren't the brightest adventurers in Obsidian Bay. They do not have the best tactical skills, they have no financial plans to speak of, and their long range goal can be summed up as 'kill stuff, get gold, buy beer.'
  • Kongregation of Kord: The god of Athletics, Sport and Brawling has a strong presence in Obsidian Bay, which is so profoundly known for its adventurer's guilds. Games of strength and ability are held almost nightly at this temple.
