Smithroy Smithers
Smithroy is Malphas's seneschal and in charge of most of MEI's day to day operations. What he lacks in personality he makes up for in loyalty and effectivness.

Originally hailing from the land of ket, smithroy set out on a life of adventure after 3 years of traveling through out the flaness, visiting many cities including greyhawk, rel mord, jurnre, elredd, leukish, chendl and verbobonc. He eventually he made his way to the back water town of obsidian bay where he was briefly a member of the thieves guild during the year of 588. Soon afterward he grew disillusioned with guild politics & jasper silverbreak's patronizing manner.
Smithroy has always been interested in magic and once free of the thieves guild he sought out to apprentice himself to a wizard of some renown, all were put off by his past career and turned him aside. Finally he approached malaclypse and was accepted as an apprentice. malaclypse saw the usefulness of smithroy's background as well as his extensive knowledge of foreign lands and customs, and looked forward to the day when smithroy would be able to mix his past abilities with his newly trained arcane abilities.
Grateful for the opportunity, smithroy has been eager to prove himself to malaclypse, and has thus far has pleased him. mal, has allowed smithroy to accompany him on a few adventures, and has awarded him a wand of magic missiles for his efforts. When not adventuring, or involved in his studies smithroy manages malaclypse's affairs in obsidian bay, including, his law practice and fire insurance agency.
Smithroy has dark brown brushed back hair and piercing dark eyes, with a neatly trimmed goatee, he is softspoken and well groomed, to the point of fastidiousness,
