The Delven and Sons dwarven construction crew is known for their exquisite stone and metal work, as well as their relentless drive for perfection.
Delven, the elder dwarf and leader of the company, was drawn to Obsidian Bay short years after its founding from the Principality of Ulek. He'd been a member of the lesser nobility in Ulek, but was tired to their endless debates over how to free the Pomarj. Seeing that the humans were doing a good job of it, he decided to join their cause.
He founded his company on Coldeven 5, CY 515, funding it on construction projects and treasure recovered on expeditions into the lost dwarven strongholds of the Drachensgrabs.
He has eight sons and as many daughters, and their extended families represent a total of 80 dwarves. He has a dozen more unrelated dwarves and even a few gnomes helping the family on projects. He's also retained a company terramancer -- known simply as Slate -- who helps on various jobs. He has also been known to retain the services of another earth mage known as Sven Kildare.
The Blackrazor dwarven fighter Luc Krolnochack came to Obsidian Bay to work for Delven. He still has close ties to the the company, and still works for them occasionally.
