The Church of St. Cuthbert’s pragmatic, no nonsense approach has a strong following in the city's poorer districts, (much to the annoyance the more chaotic faiths).

The church has a large building in the warehouse district that it operates from, often sending "patrols" of priests into the surrounding area to maintain order and to discourage thefts. It maintains a small church in the city's poverty-stricken Mudsitters District

The leader of the church is known simply as Ironsoul. He is a 14th level cleric of the faith who has led his flock since CY 578. He is one of city's most outspoken voices, and is widely accepted as a good, but stern, leader. Ironsoul is not a close advisor of the Lord Mayor, but his significant following in the city guarantees that his Lordship will at least listen to what he has to say.

Another of the church’s notable billets was Calvin Cloudmore, a slaver-turned-preacher who was one of the church’s most humble advocates (although the wisdom of his words is often questionable). A long-time member of the Blackrazor Guild, he had semi-retired, and presided over the church in the Mudsitters District until his death at the hands of the shadow-demon possessed Gaiseric. He also ran The Caring Cudgel, an orphanage in the same district that he founded with help from the Blackrazor mage Falgar. Both the congregation and the orphanage are now tended to by his widow, Clara Cloudmore
